Shelbi Rice, daughter of Rick and Treva Rice won 1st place in Barrel Racing at the Arkansas High School Regional Rodeo in Hampton, Arkansas this past week. Arkansas High School Rodeo Athletes travel across the state during the school year competing to accumulate points in their quest to become state champions in their events. Shelbi won competing against 50 of the top High School Rodeo Athletes in Arkansas.
Shelbi was also crowned Miss Arkansas High School Rodeo queen. She competed at Nationals in Gillette, Wyoming against 50 other girls. She placed 3rd in speech, 5th in modeling and top ten in interview and personality. She came in 8th overall as a 9th grader! WAY TO GO SHELBI!!! PPRD!!
A big CONGRATULATIONS to our very own Kara Dickens (pictured on the right) and Kaelyn Church. Kara, the daughter of Rodney and Gail Dickens, was crowned the 2016-17 Miss Crawford County Teen while Kaeyln, the daughter of Robert and Kim Neal, placed 1st Runner up Miss Division. The pageant was held on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at the Crawford County Fair. Kara will go on to compete for the Miss Teen Arkansas title in October at the Arkansas State Fair in Little Rock. Kaelyn was not only 1st Runner up but was also given the “Good Heart” award for her volunteer work. Ladies, again, a big CONGRATULATIONS to the both of you! You makes us proud. PPRD!!
Parents/Guardians beginning Tuesday, September 6, 2016 Cedarville Public Schools will begin an automated call for all attendance. If your child misses for any reason or any given time, you will receive a call. Attendance is very important for every student. Cedarville Public Schools feel that by conducting these calls it will help not only the schools but you as well by making you aware of your student’s attendance. If you are unfamiliar with Cedarville’s attendance policies, they are located on each buildings website under the header tab Administration > Forms and Handbook.
Cedarville Public Schools will endeavor to provide our students with the opportunity and resources to master skills and concepts necessary to become productive citizens in our ever-changing world. Skills in literacy and mathematics will be emphasized.
