Current Position:

This will be my third year at Cedarville High School. I teach Resource Math and Resource Language Arts. I also have classes that are called lab class in both subjects.

Previous Position:

I worked as a substitue teacher in resource classrooms while completing my education in the Van Buren and Alma school districts. I completed my 16 week internship in the Van Buren District before coming to Cedarville.

Family Information:

I am married to a wonder man named Jim. We have been married for 27 years. We have two daughters. Ashley graduated from Cedarville High School in 2012 and went on to get her cosmotology license. Katelynn  graduated from Cedarville in 2017. She is attending Champion Christian College in Hot Springs. She is playing college basketball  while working on her degrees in Sports Management and Secondary Education. She plans to become a Coach and teach. My girls inspired me to complete my teaching degree. Both daughters have recently announced their engagements, our family is growing and we couldn’t be happier eventhough we already consider both young men family. Both daughters have learning disabilities and work hard to overcome any obstacle that gets in their way. I want others to see that they too can be successful if they are determined and work for it. I feel that my girls stores can inspire my students as they have inspired me.

Personal Information:

When I am not teaching I like to spend time with my husband and girls. Most free time is spent watching Katelynn play basketball. We don’t often get much time when we are all free at the same time but when that happens we enjoy traveling, cooking out and swimming.
