Coming Soon: Bell to Bell, No Cell!
Starting in the 2025–2026 school year, the Arkansas Bell to Bell, No Cell Act will be in effect.
What does this mean?
No personal device use (phones, smartwatches, tablets, laptops) during the entire school day — from the first bell to the last.
Exceptions:
• Health-related needs (IEPs/504s)
• Emergency situations
• Extracurricular activities
Why?
The goal of the legislation is to reduce distractions, support student mental health, and promote a stronger focus on learning in the classroom.
